Esmee Denters signed with Justin Timberlake’s label in 2008, and Marie Digby-famous for her acoustic cover of Rihanna’s mega hit “Umbrella”, landed a record deal as well.

The list goes on and on. Now you can add Sasha-not to be confused with Beyonce’s alter ego Sasha Fierce-to the list. The Brooklyn native nails a solid rendition of India Arie’s “Beautiful Surprise”-taken from her sophomore effort Voyage to India. Though it’s only a minute long clip, take notice at how refreshing and poignant Sasha’s vocals are. When you can give a music vet like India Arie a run for her money in the vocal department, that’s saying something. Good job, Sasha.

I also had to point out another beautiful cover by 19 year old Jacqueline Adams. Jacqueline’s voice is so engaging-it’s almost haunting. So sit back and close your eyes. And let Jacqueline Adams soothing voice take you into another state of mind.
