WWE Diva Melina wins Divas Championship

Diva fans have been venting out their frustrations at the WWE for the redundant matches and feuds. Well, after last nights events things are looking brighter than ever.

On Monday night RAW things were shaken up completely for the WWE Divas. Unexpectedly after baby face Mickie James lost her championship to Jillian Hall, guest host Nancy O’ Deal made a shocking announcement. Jillian had to defend her newly won title against Raw’s newest diva: Melina Perez.

The Latina spitfire won the match just barely under the minute mark becoming the fifth diva to hold the Diva’s championship. The night didn’t stop there for the divas, Beth Phoenix had been drafted to Smackdown.

Now full details from WWE have emerged on which divas has been traded to what brand.

Mickie James

ECW:
Rosa

The shakeup couldn’t have come at a better time. Beth and Mickie now have fresh competition from the likes of Michelle Mccool and Layla. Same for Melina and Eve who will square off with rising star Alicia Fox and the returning Maryse. Unfortunately Natalya and Katie Lea continue to get overlooked. Two divas with such talent deserve to showcase their abilities on either Raw or SD at least. But looking at the positives-we have new potential feuds, and matches to look forward to.
