It was only a matter a time before Travie Mccoy would step away from Gym Class Heroes to become a solo act. Travie Mccoy is gearing up for the release of his debut disc Lazarus.
To get the album Lazarus started off a nhigh note, Mccoy has chosen the first single to be Billionaire featuring singer Bruno Mars.
So what would Travie Mccoy do if he indeed did become a Billionaire? On the radio friendly record Travie Mccoy raps about getting his own show like Oprah, adopting a baby like Brangelina and visiting Katrina-which just some of the things on Mccoy’s list. Meanwhile, singer Bruno Mars croons on the chorus “Oh every time I close my eyes. I see my name in shining light. A different city every night oh I swear, the world better prepare For when I’m a billionaire”.
In the end that “Billionaire” is song that many listeners will find relate able. Doesn’t almost everyone wish to have wealth, much less become Billionaire? This record may and will get Travie Mccoy off on the right track as solo act.
