Former CEO of Def Jam Jay-Z rocked the stage at last Friday’s Africa Rising Music and Fashion Festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.

I’ve been to D.C. a lot of times, but I’ve never been here before,” Jay-Z said with a smirk as he surveyed the stately Kennedy Center Concert Hall last night.

According to the Washington Post Jay-Z performed some of his biggest hits “99 Problems,” “Dirt Off Your Shoulder,” “Big Pimpin’,” and “I Just Wanna”. Also at Friday’s show were John Legend, Tyson Beckford, and super models Liya Kebede, Alex Wek, and Oluchi Onweagba.
