The album would reach #1 , where it would go on to Gold status in its first week. Maxwell is currently nominated for 6 Grammy awards. Can he take them all?

#7 Since the release of “Day ‘n’ Nite” rapper Kid Kudi has been on everyone’s radar. The single earned Kudi his first top ten hit in ’09. Eventually it would go on to gain acclaim from both fans and critics. The hits didn’t stop there, the Cleavland rapper later sampled Lady Gaga’s “Pokerface” for his the buzzworthy track “Make Her Say”. Now on the “Pursuit of Happiness”, Kid Kudi is celebrating his 3 Grammy nominations and will be hitting the small screen for the HBO comedy series “How to Make it in America”.

Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona is a singer by the name of Herbie Washington. The 28-year-old singer joined Youtube in May 2009. Bizzom got a glimpse of what Herbie Washington is capable of with his impeccable cover of Soul stirrer Maxwell’s “Whenever Wherever Whatever” (The Urban Suite).Rather than showing off just his pipes , Washington incorporates a grand piano into the mix-showing audiences that he is not only talented vocally, but instrumentally as well.

Not to many people can match the vocal capabalites of Maxwell. But Washington manages to hang with the singer on this particular record.
