Christina Aguilera-Not Myself Tonight

After going retro for Back 2 Basics Christina Aguilera returns to a more mainstream sound with the lead single off of Bionic Not Myself Tonight (produced by Polow Da Don). “Not Myself Tonight” is an high energy track prepped and ready for the clubs. For the lead cut, Aguilera sings about breaking out of her element for the night. No complaints from on our end-”Not Myself Tonight” by Christina Aguilera is promising albeit safe, but one has to wonder what the vocal powerhouse really has cooking with SIA and Co.

The year 2010 looks to be promising for singer Christina Aguilera. The Grammy award winning singer will star in her first film role “Burlesque” and will release an new album in the early Spring.

The album previously titled “Light and Darkness” will now go under the name “Bionic”. Christina revealed details of what fans can expect from the highly anticipated CD in the February edition of Marie Claire.

“It’s just about the future-my sun in my life, motivating me to want to play and have fun”.

X-tina worked with producers Tricky Steward(Umbrella, Single Ladies) and Aussie musician Sia. The two singers collaborated for 3 ballads on Bionic. One of the ballads is revealed to be “Lullaby”-dedicated to her son Max. Other tracks mentioned in the magazine are the electronic driven “Glam” and the hip throwback cut “Bionic”.
