If you’re a fan of the undead, spoiled rich kids and wannabe fashion models then your in luck today. CW has announced the renewal of Gossip Girl, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries , 90210 and America’s Next Top Model. Arguably the five shows are the CW’s highest rating programs.
Breakout hit “The Vampire Diaries”, has been one of the CW’s most consistent series in ratings to date. On average, The Vampire Diaries brings in 3-4 million viewers per episode. The same can be said for “Supernatural” (with 2-3 million), whose currently celebrating its 5th season.
And don’t forget “America’s Next Top Model”. The competitive reality television show has brought the CW some impressive ratings in its incredible 14th season run. Recently CW announced a 15th and 16th season pickup.
No word on CW’s other fan favorites One Tree Hill, Smallville, Melrose Place (?) and Life Unexpected.
The first season of CW’s 90210 is all a blur to me. While it off started promising, midway my interest was lost. But for some odd reason its pulled me back in. New writers perhaps? Whatever the case, the two first episode trumps pretty much all of season one.
S2EP2 : “To Sext or not To Sext” takes focus of its main character Annie.
In the season one finale Annie was placed blame of sleeping with the Naomi’s former beau Liam, and lets not forget the hit and run accident. Unfortunately, Annie has another burden weighing on her shoulder-a scandalous nude pic with Liam. Now that Beverly Hill’s resident bitch Naomi has the picture in her grasp, Annie’s reputation could take a serious hit.
A haughty Naomi is up to her usual conniving ways. First baring her goods to the school’s nerd for a favor, and secondly toying with Annie’s emotions. Annie makes a desperate plea for Naomi not to send the pic. Even it is admitting to having sex with Liam to a scorned Naomi.
Now that Annie finally answered to Naomi, Naomi is unsure if Annie really did sleep with Liam.
Former rebel Silver is still heartbroken between the breakup with boyfriend Dixon. I almost hate their making her out to be desperate. The mass phone calls, stalking him at the beach- completely unnecessary.
A now clean Adrianna is dealing with a bitter Navid. Navid’s distaste for the female heartthrob Teddy is deeper than one could imagine. Teddy and Adrianna share a history with one another, Adrianna lost her virginity to the school’s playboy. As a way to get The Blaze noticed Adrianna sets up a interview. Navid shows blatant unprofessional ism lashing out at Teddy with a series of hard hitting questions. You can bet that after this stunt, the relationship between Navid and Adrianna is on thin ice.
The ending is where things come full circle. You can’t help but sympathize for Annie. How much can one take?
The big question is what will happen with Annie now that the picture is out in the open? Will she crack or rebel against Naomi’s vengeful ways?
