Beyonce Knowles made a surprise appearance at Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige’s Heart of The City tour. MTV News has all the details from Fridays show:
During Jay-Z’s solo set, he has a part where he shows off. Jay literally sits in the DJ booth and pushes buttons to cue up instrumentals of classics like “Money Ain’t a Thang,” “Who You Wit” and “Hard Knock Life.” “F— that,” Jay yelled every time he played a song, cutting it off within seconds of bringing it up. Humorously, he started ” ‘03 Bonnie & Clyde” and just like before, he stopped it after a second. “F— that,” he said with a grin. Then Hov pulled up Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love” and, you guessed it, said, “F— that too. … No disrespect.”
But almost immediately, Beyoncé came onstage, walking with a sassy “how dare you” strut. Jay started “Crazy in Love” again, and B did her crowd-pleasing “uh oh” dance. She walked over to Jay, did a spin, smiled and went backstage. Jay doubled over laughing.

Singing superstar Mariah Carey has been dogged for most of her career for her up-and-down weight, but there’s nothing bad you can say about the Mimi that graces the the cover of VIBE Magazine’s June 2008 issue, which hits newsstands Tuesday.The steamy photos (scroll down for the full cover image) were shot on-location on Eagle’s Landing, a private Caribbean island off the coast of Antigua where VIBE joined Mariah for her lavish 38th birthday celebration, only weeks before her surprise wedding to 27-year-old actor and comedian Nick Cannon.

Last night in Nashville, TN Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus hosted the 2008 CMT awards at the Curb Event Center.
The big winner at this years show was Taylor Swift, taking home two awards for “Video of the Year” and” Female Video of the Year” for the single “Our Song” off her debut album. I wrote that song in the ninth grade for a talent show,” Swift added while accepting the evening’s top honor. “I never thought it would be on an album, never thought I’d record it, never thought it would be a single, never thought it would be No. 1 and certainly never thought it would win video and female video of the year.”
