Fans and celebrities have been shocked at the tragic report of Brittany Murphy’s death. The 32-year-old actress reportedly passed away suddenly Sunday afternoon. Murphy’s mother found the actress in the shower unconscious according to TMZ. At this point it’s purely speculation at what caused the actress’s death. But reports do indicate that she had been very ill prior her death. An official autopsy is expected to be performed either later today or Tuesday. Brittany Murphy was married to director Simon Monjack.

Murphy in TV and Film:

Brittany Murphy stints in Television include several appearances on the popular TV sitcom Sister Sister starring Tia and Tamera Mowry, “The Torkelsons” spinoff Almost Home(Disney) and the voice for Luanne on the adult comedy King of The Hill.

However, it was her performance in the ’95 Hit teen comedy Clueless that made Brittany Murphy an household name. The bubbly actress would later star in other popular films including Girl Interrupted(1999), Drop Dead Gorgeous(1999), Don’t Say a Word(2001), Just Married(2003), Uptown Girls(2003) and Sin City(2005).

Murphy’s Music:

The actress made a guest spot on Paul Oakland’s dance monster “Faster Kill Pussycat”. The techno club track was released in March of 2006.
