News has broke out on the recent passing of Shattered Records recording artist Jay Reatard. The 29 year-old rock musician from Memphis, Tennessee passed away suddenly earlier this morning.

It was in the Summer of 2009 that the infectious Rock anthem It Ain’t Gonna Save Me garnered Jay Reatard attention in the music industry.

Following the acclaim of “It Ain’t Gonna Save Me”, his studio effort “Watch Me Fall” placed #13 at Spin Magazine’s Top Albums of 2009.
