Pop icon Janet Jackson is featured on the cover Ebony Magazine. In the April issue Jackson tells the mag about her departure from Virgin records, the love of her life, Jermaine Dupri, and how she’s not ready to retire just yet.

“I’m not ready to retire..” she says. ” I enjoy what I do, and I don’t think it is time for me to kick on an island and do nothing all day. I don’t want to do that just yet. I don’t know if I’ll ever be ready to do that. I love music”.

The magazine is on newsstands today.
