If you tried logging on to Imeem recently, you may notice there have been quite a few changes.Imeem, a music streaming site where users could upload songs is now under the umbrella of Myspace- officially beginning today.
Early Tuesday morning Matt Graves of Imeem gathered a final playlist for loyal users of the site. Unfortunately that goodbye was cut short.
Myspace has since announced Imeem recent move on their website. Imeem, while popular with the internet community, lacked proper advertisements which lead to its demise. Forbes reports Myspace bought the now defunct music streaming site for an estimated $1 million.
Users of Imeem concerned about their playlist will be notified by email shortly . Most likely the playlists will be migrated over to the new site. In the meantime, Myspace is urging users to sign up as a Myspace Music Artist.
