For nearly 2 months Ronkeya Holmes, 29, and her daughter Masaraha Ross, 3, have been missing. Georgia news outlet WTOCTV reports that Ronkeya went to pick her daughter up over at her father’s Winter Haven home on October 18th. Since that date, investigators haven’t found either Ronkeya or Masaraha . At the time Holmes was attending classes at Savannah Technical College.

Lester Ross, father, told investigators that he dropped off his daughter at a Walmart. Investigators and the Holmes family believe this story to be false. The car of Ronkeya has since been found by investigators. Interestingly enough, Lester Ross hasn’t been found since questioned.

The family of Ronkeya Holmes and Masaraha have been distraught over the news ,and are hoping with each passing day they come back home safely:

“It’s just hard knowing that you have spent two weeks without her not knowing anything. Where she is, or how she is doing,” said Fletcher.

“We not able to sleep. All of us had our own personal relationship with my sister you know. It’s just, it’s hard, real hard having to be there for each other,” said Ronkeya’s sister Angel Fletcher.

To help raise money to find their missing daughter and granddaughter, the Holmes family have set up an account with Suntrust Bank. If you’d like to contribute, stop by your nearest SunTrust bank and let them know that you’d like to contribute to the Holmes/Fletcher Benevolent Fund.
