Posted by Geordae On March - 29 - 2010

It’s the most celebrated PPV in the WWE-Wrestlemania. And a WWE superstar truly hasn’t made it unless they get an opportunity to wrestle at the grandest stage of them all. 10 big matches took place at Wrestlemania 26 Sunday night in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Heartbreak Kid wouldn’t stop at nothing to defeat his adversary the Undertaker even if it meant putting his wrestling career in jeopardy. Unfortunately for Shawn Michaels, he would come up short at Wrestlemania 26. The Undertaker prevailed against his opposer, and still holds his undefeated streak Wrestlemania with the record now becoming 18-0.

Canada’s own Bret Hart did the unthinkable-he stepped inside a wrestling ring-a first in over 12 years. Many thought Bret wouldn’t even entertain the WWE after the infamous Montreal screw job. The Chairman Vince McMahon had a plan to put one over on Bret by having the Hart family surround the ring for a lumber jack match. What McMahon failed to realize that blood is thicker than water. In front of 72,00 attendees, Vince Mcmahon would be humiliated by the entire Hart family. Bret Hart stood tall once again at Wrestlemania 26.

Edge wasn’t the only shocker in this year’s Royal Rumble. “The Glamazon” Beth Phoenix stormed to the ring and eliminated the Great Khali after using her powers of female persuasion. The road quickly stopped there for Phoenix as she was taken out by CM Punk with the GTS. Beth Phoenix is the 2nd woman ever to take part in the Royal Rumble.
