President Barrack Obama was awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize, but did he really deserve it?
The night is still buzzing from when President Barrack Obama was awarded with the honorary Nobel Peace Prize. With the Nobel Prize win, Barrack Obama joins the company of civil rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Theodore Roosevelt .The early Friday news story has brought out a overwhelming amount of emotions. Some angry/shocked others joyous/celebratory for President Barrack.
There have been many before Barrack who have made contributions yet were overlooked for their accomplishments.
The burning question here is: Was the Nobel Peace Prize given to Obama prematurely?
One hand rests where Obama has made history in what many thought was nearly impossible-becoming the first African American President of the U.S. As the nation’s leader, Obama has become the voice of the younger generation.
Others feel that President Barrack needs to pay his dues in office before being awarded with something so prestigious. In addition, Obama’s uplifting “Yes We Can” campaign has been brought to question by many who feel that in his short time at office, has delivered plenty false promises.
Obviously there are more reasons for why or why not Barrack should have been awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize. But do you feel his win cheapened the Nobel Peace Prize?
The road is a long one for President Obama and one can only wonder what the future holds in store for him.
