Damon Williams, the 14-year-old who was featured on PBS thematic TV series Money Track is a millionaire in the making. Not only is he earning money more than people half his age, he’s also a gifted student, athlete and a model.

The Chicago native owns shares of stock with several big name companies including Coach, Verizon and Nike. So how did a 14-year-old gain such knowledge? The person responsible is Damon’s mother April Williams. Clearly mom knows best. April Williams, was formally in debt. So Williams not only taught herself about financial matters but young Damon as well.

“I taught him to be excited about being owner. To own a piece of Walgreens. To own a piece of the company that made that made it happen-you know or him-that he was always begging for. Or of course a piece of Nike-for all those gym shoes he has to have.”
