Fans of the critically acclaimed television series Samurai Jack will happy to know that there are talks of movie according to Kung Fu Cinema. This is quite possibly big news considering the visually stunning cartoon series never received a proper finale. And now J.J Abrams, who is responsible for the recent hit movie Star Trek(2009) and 2008’s Cloverfield will take on the role as a producer for the film. Abrams name alone will bring some renewed interest in Samurai Jack.

The popular cartoon series follows Jack as he determined to return to his homeland-after being cast off to the distant future, and defeat his arch nemesis Aku.
