Early November on ABC’s 20/20, thousands would watch from their TV sets as the Barbados beauty set the record straight between her and ex Brown. “Rated R”, Rihanna’s fourth studio album, was also released later that month. The dark lyrical content of the album revealed a more vulnerable side to the former “Little Miss Sunshine”.

#5 on on our year-end countdown is none other than Britney Spears. The popular Pop sensation finished the final show of her long-winded tour of “Circus” at Adelaide, Austriallia in late November. An impressive 97 shows in total, Spears had not 1 but 2 North American Legs, an European leg and an Australian leg-talk about commitment! The year 2009 also saw the mother of two release her greatest hit set “Britney Spears: The Singles Collection”. To support the retrospective album, Britney Spears would drop new single by the name of “3″. The playful pop number shot straight to #1 on the Billboard charts-largely due to strong digital sales.
