John Mayer may have gotten a wee bit too comfortable when he sat down with Playboy for a unsympathetic interview. John Mayer not only gave some revealing answers on former girlfriends Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson but the laid back guitarist compared his privates to a white supremacist and bravely threw out the N-word. Obviously aware by the criticism of the interview, John took it to Twitter to apologize those offended. Wednesday would see video footage of Mayer once again apologizing-being nearly reduced to tears. The big lesson here for Mayer: Some things are really better left unsaid.
#1 Fashion lost one of its biggest icons. The unexpected news on the of death Lee Alexander occurred early Thursday morning. UK Daily Mail first broke the news that Alexander Mcqueen body was found in his UK home. In recent past, Mcqueen was coping with the late death of his mother. Isabella Blow, a friend who Mcqueen credited for introducing him to fashion, passed in 2007. Stefano Tonchi editor T Magazine blames the pressuring fashion world for his death:
I think it is just the tip of the iceberg,” he said this afternoon at a lunch for Inglourious Basterds’ Quentin Tarantino and Christoph Waltz. “We all know that this is a very critical moment in fashion, and that basically he is the first victim of what is a conflict between creativity and business. Today to be a fashion designer, you have to be a superman or superwoman. You have to have nerves of steel. You have to be so strong. And if you are a little bit weak, if you have psychological problems or weakness, you end up like him.”
