1. ) The horrific events witnessed in Haiti has had an effect on everyone. Even during the darkest hours, something this devastating has ultimately brought the world closer together. Celebrities gathered together Friday for the ‘Hope for Haiti Now’ telethon. The 2-hour event put together by George Clooney, was televised globally on CNN, MTV and Fuse. The performers present at the ‘Hope for Haiti Now’ telethon were Christina Aguilera, Madonna, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, Jay-Z, Bono, Coldplay, John Legend, Shakira and Wyclef Jean.
2.) An emotional Conan O’ Brien said his final farewell to his long running ( 17 years to be exact) late night talk show Friday night. Earlier in the week, O’ Brien reached with an agreement with NBC for a $45 million deal exit. Now that he is a free agent, what network will Conan O’Brien sign to?
3.) The troubled Kimber met her demise on this week’s episode of Niptuck (FX) -perhaps the biggest TV Death in recent memory. But fans of Kimber shouldn’t be too upset, because this won’t be the last we see of the blonde beauty. Kelly Carlson tells EW that Kimber will appear as Christinan’s subconscious. Should be interesting right?
4. ) At 12 years of age, you would think video games and gadgets would be on the brain. But not for Stephen Stafford, the child prodigy was home schooled by his mother and is already attending Morehouse college. Besides taking Algebra and Pre-calculus, Stephen Stafford is one of the top students of his class, and is even tutoring some of his peers.
5.) As witnessed on “Teen Mom” (MTV) , Farrah and her mother (Debra Danielson) haven’t exactly had the closet relationship. Things finally came to a boiling point between the dysfunctional family members. As revealed by TMZ, 18-year-old Farrah was said to be choked and had multiple cuts wounds around her lip.
