Being different is not always a bad thing. Just imagine if these designs actually came to life! The concept vehicles, no matter good or bad, definitely catches one eye. Let’s take a look and see which concept designs made the cut.
.) Probably one of Volvo’s most interesting concept designs to date would have to be The Extreme Volvo Gravity Car model. The Volvo Gravity Car undoubtedly has a sleek appearance. With its thin outer body, the amount of room for the Gravity car is dismally scarce. Drivers control the Volvo lying face down while steering with handlebars located on the front axle.
.) The traveling experience would be very different if you had the Toyota I-foot. The 1mph, 2-legged futuristic transporting machine is controlled by a joystick.
.) Controlled by a joystick like the Toyota I-foot, The Toyota I-Unit allows you to drive upright for slower controlled movement, but if you want to increase the speed a little, you can do so while lying back.
.) Creative Worldwide Ltd came up with this brilliant and advanced Scubacraft SC3 model. The SC3 not only allows you to travel on the surface of water ,but drivers can go more than 100ft under water. All that’s required from you when in the SC3 is standard scuba gear.
.) Peel engineering came out with the Peel P50 concept in the 1960′s. The minuscule P50 best resembles a clown car. With 3 gears, no reverse, you can literally drag this lightweight P50 by a handle.
.) Can you imagine yourself riding the Bombardier Embrio(Bombadier Recreational Products)? The Embrio is made from the usage of gyropscope technology and is powered by Fuel Cells. If you notice the tiny front wheel-it’s used to keep the Bombardier balanced when stopping at fast speeds.
.) This most recent idea is not only Eco-friendly, it also runs on solar energy as well. Industrial designer Antonio Valmassoi unveiled his latest concept the Leviathan. The energy efficient yacht is powered by two electric jet pump engines.
