Welsh singer Duffy, born in Llyn Peninsula, got her first taste of stardom on the television show Wawffactor(Welsh alternative to Pop Idol) coming in at second place. Her big break didn’t come through until she signed A&M Records in 2007. There she released her first studio album RockFerry, which hit stores earlier this month.
