Titans and Married Too Clash for Top Spot

Posted by Geordae On March - 31 - 2010

It’s sure to be packed in theaters across the nation, because two very anticipated movies are set to be released this weekend. Clash of the Titans (Warner Bros.) and Why Did I Get Married Too? (Lionsgate) will be battling head-to-head for the coveted #1 spot at the box office.

Why Did I Get Married Too? is the awaited sequel to Tyler Perry’s first Why Did I get Married film. In October 2007, Why Did I Get Married bowed in theaters at #1 with a gross of 27M.

Greek mythology and big special effects are just one of the many things included in Warner Bros’ Clash of the Titans. The new ‘Titans’ stars one of Hollywood’s rising stars Sam Worthington (Terminator Salvation and Avatar). If you’re a movie goer looking for the ultimate movie experience, you’ll be happy to know that Clash of The titans can also be watched in 3D. The original Clash of the Titans film was released in the early eighties.

While Why Did I Get Married Too? and Clash of The Titans are scheduled for A Friday, the PG love story The Last Song staring Miley Cirus is released in theaters today.

What film are you planning on to see this week?

Christina Aguilera-Not Myself Tonight

After going retro for Back 2 Basics Christina Aguilera returns to a more mainstream sound with the lead single off of Bionic Not Myself Tonight (produced by Polow Da Don). “Not Myself Tonight” is an high energy track prepped and ready for the clubs. For the lead cut, Aguilera sings about breaking out of her element for the night. No complaints from on our end-”Not Myself Tonight” by Christina Aguilera is promising albeit safe, but one has to wonder what the vocal powerhouse really has cooking with SIA and Co.
