For an impressive 30 years Phillipe Starck introduced the world to thought-provoking and imaginative products. You never know what you’re going to get when dealing with the French product designer-And that’s a good thing! The man Phillipe Starck has to thank for it all? His Father. Starck was greatly inspired by his dad-who was both an engineer and manufacturer.

2007 saw Phillippe Starck produce a series of sleek watches for Fossil. In 2008, Starck introduced the world to the Wind Turbine($633) titled “Democratic Ecology”.

Cartoon Network’s Samurai Jack hitting Theaters Soon

Fans of the critically acclaimed television series Samurai Jack will happy to know that there are talks of movie according to Kung Fu Cinema. This is quite possibly big news considering the visually stunning cartoon series never received a proper finale. And now J.J Abrams, who is responsible for the recent hit movie Star Trek(2009) and 2008′s Cloverfield will take on the role as a producer for the film. Abrams name alone will bring some renewed interest in Samurai Jack.

The popular cartoon series follows Jack as he determined to return to his homeland-after being cast off to the distant future, and defeat his arch nemesis Aku.

If you’re not familiar with Samurai Jack, you can get acquainted with the television series on Cartoon Network’s sister channel Boomerang.

Link and Princess Zelda Join Forces in ‘Spirit Tracks’

The last time Nintendo DS released an Zelda related game was Phantom Hourglass in 2007. Link is back in the new 2009 game release The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Spirit tracks follows our adventurous hero as he teams up with Princess Zelda for the first time ever. It’s evident The Princess Zelda is tired playing the damsel in distress and opting for some action this go around.

It’s up to gamers to help the hero and heroine collect the Spirit Tracks from the treacherous Demon King. There are several ways gamers can play the Spirit Tracks. One of them being switching Link and The Phantom in different areas of the game. There’s also a cool Multiplayer Feature as well. You can swap treasure items in Tag Mode or Friends can see who can collect the most force gems in the competitive Battle Mode.

Also included in the game are challenging puzzles, traveling to your desired designation by the Spirit Train and fighting off the bad guys with the Boomerang, Whirlwind and Link’s mighty sword.
