IGN recently released a two-minute clip of everyone’s favorite hedgehog racing around the world in high speed.

Details on the new game from SEGA broke out inadvertently back in April. It’s been reported that SU was under development for more than three years. Could this be a good thing? What makes this game even more hopeful is “The Hedgehog Engine”, which produces a visually stunning next generation look and feel with elements of classic Sonic game play mechanics. The Hedgehog engine will help re-define the game play experience for Sonic fans and newcomers to the franchise alike.

Sonic Unleashed will be available on the following consoles: Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 2.
