Faithfuls of The Game were enraged when CW broke news of canceling the series. There were online petitions and even the actors themselves urged fans to help keep the show alive.

Now, a new season of the popular dramedy may be coming sooner than we think.

According Juan Murray of BV Buzz, sources tell the writer that BET have struck a deal with Paramount to develop more episodes for the series.

“The show will have the same production value, so the actors will make the same type of money they made when they did ‘The Game’ for The CW,” the source shared.

All of the original actors except Cody Bell , who is currently starring on Burn Notice, are expected to reprise their roles. If Bell does return he’ll be given a minor role.

The Game aired on CW regularly on Sunday nights, but was then moved to the Friday night death slot. Rerun airings on BET proved to be popular as it scored favorable ratings, and even gained some new followers along the way.

Lafayette, Sookie, Tara and Eric-all of your favorite characters from the critically acclaimed television series, True Blood, will be returning to the small screen this summer. According to recent reports, Season 3 of True Blood has been confirmed to air on June 13th.

Luckily, there will be some new blood on the show as well. The actors set to join the cast of Season 3 are Gregory Sporleder who will who play Calvin Norris, Joe Manganiello as Alcide Herveaux, Lindsay Pulsipher as Crystal Norris, Kevin Alejandro as Jesus Velasquez, James Frain as Franklin Mott and Brit Morgan will star as Debbie Pelt.

The season 2 finale of True Blood had over 5 millions viewers, making it a record setting number for HBO. Will Season 3 be able top it?
